About Our Chef – John Schnupp
A 1988 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef John wasted no time ditching the cold NY weather for the likes of Chef Tell's Grand Old House in Grand Cayman, BWI. From there he enjoyed stints of executive cheffing at Radisson Bridge Resort in Boca Raton, Coral Ridge Country Club in Ft. Lauderdale, Kelly McGill's Bar, Grill and Brewery in Key West, and the Boys Farmers Market in Delray Beach. A desire to create cuisine for discerning palates in a more family friendly (though cold again!) region prompted Chef John to move his wife and three young sons to WI in 1999. He spent three years as executive chef at the Geneva Inn, two at Schnupp's Place in Fontana, and three more as executive chef and general manager of the Lake Geneva Yacht Club. Coming to the Market after a brief stint at The Waterfront in Delavan, Chef John brings his unique brand of creativity and enthusiasm to our prepared foods and deli, and looks forward to developing the Market's catering to area businesses and individuals.
