Our farm in East Troy was the inspiration for the Lake Country Market; where we are committed to raising and delivering the healthiest farm fresh food possible. We wanted to establish a connection between our Farm, other Walworth County Farms and people who were concerned about where their food came from and how it is raised and prepared.
We raise our livestock on natural pastures that we plant and manage on over 150 acres of farmland in East Troy, WI. We use sustainable farming practices; natural fertilization and weed management practices, which means no chemical products are applied to our pastures or fields where our cattle graze or where we grow our winter forage crops of hay, alfalfa, and grass/legume mixes. Our cattle graze rotationally on organically managed pastures over six months a year; eating food we grow for them that is chemical free.
Our animals are not given antibiotics, hormones or chemical growth promotants.
We sell our hay to a local dairy that sells it’s milk to the Wisconsin cheese plant that makes the cheese that we buy for our Market Pizzas! Talk about full circle production and consumption.

Lake Country Market’s Farm Kitchen Chef incorporates the fresh vegetables and herbs from local farmers (from Delavan, Elkhorn, and LaGrange) in his recipes to create the tasty foods sold in the Market.
